Location: Along Eglinton Avenue Strip from Marlee to Dufferin
CHRY will be part of the vibe at the York Eglinton Street Festival. CHRY DJs from Pushkar, Zion Train, Radio Dubplate, Caribbean Crucible, Sound Junction, Conscious Vibes and African Sunsplash will be mixing their unique blend of music directly to the community. Enjoy food, performances and music alongside CHRY DJs who will be mixing the best from Reggae to Hip Hop, Calypso to African, so be sure to join your community radio live from the streets of Eglinton. 2010 Calypso Tents Music Series
The Organization of Calypso Performing Artists (OCPA) presents the 2010 Calypso Tents Music Series (CTMS) which runs from Saturday, June 5th to Sunday, July 4th.
There are two tents participating and each tent features a cast of singers performing newly-composed calypso works for the Caribana season. The two tents are Kaiso Forum (North York) and The Professionals (Downtown) - these two casts together represent Toronto’s top calypso singers.
