Welcome to CHRY

CHRY is a volunteer-run campus-community radio station. Volunteers keep CHRY vibrant and alive! We have over 100 volunteers, and always welcome new ones.  If you have any questions about being a volunteer at CHRY, contact or call 416-736-2100 ext. 77265.

Why Become a Volunteer?
Be part of media democracy! CHRY is alternative and non-profit!
Hang out at the only cool location at York University (seriously! We’re it!)

Being a Volunteer at CHRY

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for volunteer intake, training and support. The Department oversees volunteer needs and matches specific departments, committees or positions to potential volunteers.  The Department is also responsible for volunteer outreach, tracking and appreciation.

As a CHRY volunteer, you have certain privileges and responsibilities.  Your privileges as a volunteer are sustained as you are in good standing.  A Volunteer in Good Standing is defined as having upheld your responsibilities as a volunteer and abiding by CHRY politices and regulations.
